Wild Wings Bird Rehabilitation

We Love Birds.
Wild Wings Bird Rehabilitation is a 501c3 non-profit organization run entirely on donations. We rely on our amazing volunteer staff and get no state or federal funding. From our private, home-based center in Hazel Park, MI, we care for over 700+ birds each year. These birds face injury, abandonment, habitat destruction, and more.

Thanks to the support and generous donations of the caring people in our community, we can continue working together to save birds!

How Can You Help?
Donate! At Wild Wings Bird Rehab last year, food and maintenance costs alone totaled around $20,000. That is before considering utilities, medical supplies and general operation expenses. We are constantly on the lookout for supplies, equipment, and cash donations that enable us to provide quality care. Monetary donations are always needed for housing, feeding and veterinary care. Please contact us if you have questions about how you can help, or click here to donate!
Sponsor A Bird
During baby season each year, Wild Wings runs our Sponsor-A-Bird Program.   It costs $2 - $3 per day to care for each bird brought to WW with the average stay of 3-4 weeks. You can sponsor a baby you brought to us or one we already have in care for just $40. We also have discounts for multiple birds from the same nest (1 bird $40, 2 birds $50, 3-4 birds $75, over 5 birds $100). As a sponsor, not only will you get the chance to name your bird, you will also receive a sponsorship certificate, general fact sheet and weekly updates and photos.
